5K Run & Fun Walk

“Together We are Building a Stronger Community in Jackson County!”

We are participating in the 2008 Charity Challenge. The Charity Challenge is a special 5K Run & 2K Fun Walk Benefit and Matching Program. This event will help raise funds collaboratively for the many important community projects produced by the area’s non-profit organizations. The Run & Walk will take place from 9am - 11am and will start and end at the Ravenswood Plaza.

 

Twenty-two local non-profit organizations have been selected to participate in the charity event. Each organization will be devoting runner and walker sponsorship funds and matching funds to a specific community program. The funds we raise will go toward the Rotary Adopt-A-Family Christmas Service Project.

 

This event gives us a fun and easy way to raise money and the opportunity to receive a 50% match from the Jackson County Community Foundation.

 

That’s $1 for every $2 we raise!

 

We need you to give just two hours of your time to walk or run.
